My name is Mark O'Keefe and I'm working proof that you can be happier, healthier and wealthier in your 50s than you were in your 40s and even your 30s.

As a bonus, I will send you my eBook showing you how to leverage LinkedIn in your 50s. I can thank LinkedIn for a recruiter contacting me about my current job as a communications VP at a Washington, D.C. trade association.
Go deeper with one-on-one coaching
My BHAG (Big, Harry, Ambitious Goal) is to build a global community of Christian men in their 50s and 60s encouraging each other to be all we can be in the prime of our lives.
You read that right. We're not over the hill. We're charging new mountains!
For those who want to go deeper, faster, I provide one-on-one coaching. Click the red button at the bottom of this page to schedule a no-pressure inquiry call. Tell me what you're looking for and I might be able to point you in the right direction.
My coaching draws on my academic training as a coach, years of asking powerful questions as a journalist and my personal life experience as a guy who was nearly knocked out of the ring with an uppercut to the jaw I didn't see coming.
Was I a beached white male?
I was fired at age 50.
How bad was it? Newsweek ran an iconic cover image that year of a man wearing a dark suit, unable to move, face in the sand, under the headline, "Beached White Male."
After an award-winning career in journalism, I felt like a harpooned whale. I'm so glad others helped me see I was not a helpless victim but a heroic champion overcoming my challenges.
I bounced back.
Now I want to give back, sharing what I've learned to help you reach your goals.
Inspiration to take new action
Whether you are feeling high or low or in-between, your 50s are an opportune time to tap into proven strategies and tools from a leadership coach like me. I can help you assess your strengths, mitigate your weaknesses and reach your ambitious goals.
As a community, we can inspire men like us to take charge of our futures instead of passively waiting for our futures to take charge of us.
It's not easy, especially if you are among the 56% of Americans forced out of a job after age 50, according to a government study. Even worse, the chance of recovering your annual income after getting shown the door is only 10%.
Brother, you're not alone
Many men experience challenging changes in their 50s. It might be your job, your marriage, your health or even your faith.
Pain is what gets the attention of guys like us.
I'm convinced problems are God's favorite tool sometimes to prod men to consider new paths with new opportunities (see Romans 8:28). No pain and we're unwilling to change for gain.
What if your 50s become your best decade yet. It can happen if you get Fired UP after 50. I'm here to help.
